In a city so dismal it is known only as the Hole, magic users cross over from their own world to prey on the powerless locals. They use the inhabitants as test subjects for brutal experiments, leaving the district's hospital full of mutilated victims. The strong dominate the weak, and death is an everyday occurrence.
Caiman is a man with a reptile head and no memory of his past. Together with Nikaido, who runs the restaurant Hungry Bug, he hunts magic users in the Hole. Immune to their spells, he bites into their heads hoping to find the one who cursed him and learn what the figure inside his mouth has to say.
When En, the head of the magic users, hears that a lizard-man is slaughtering his people, he sends a crew of cleaners into the Hole. The hunt for answers soon ignites a war between two worlds.
