OngoingLi Huowang is a high schooler who only has to close his eyes to wake somewhere else: a strange, menacing world where he serves as a medicine primer and where his Master may at any moment turn him into pills. When he opens his eyes again, he is back in the real world, living in a mental hospital and unable to continue his schooling.
The doctors insist the other world is nothing but a hallucination, and they treat him for it. Li Huowang cannot tell which of the two lives is the real one, or whether the danger that stalks him in one of them can follow him into the other. As both worlds press in on him, his grip on what is true and what is false keeps slipping.
