Saya Otonashi is a seemingly ordinary high school girl living in Okinawa, Japan. She suffers from amnesia and cannot remember her past. Her adoptive family cares for her, but she is haunted by strange dreams and a mysterious thirst for blood. Her life changes forever when she is attacked by a chiropteran, a monstrous bat-like creature, and is saved by a mysterious man named Haji.

Saya is forced to confront her true nature as the last remaining member of a powerful bloodline. She must fight the chiropterans, creatures that feed on human blood, and uncover the secrets of her past. As she battles these monsters, she becomes entangled in a conflict between the Red Shield organization and the evil Diva, a being connected to her own origins.
