Eita Touga is a second-year high school student, heir to the Touga-style ninjutsu dojo, and a hopeless video game addict. He would rather stay plugged into a virtual world than take over the family school, and when he has to choose between playing the hero and saving his own skin, he always picks the latter.
Then a winged girl with taloned feet named Aero bursts into the dojo and spirits him away to her own world. Her people, the harpies, are being wiped out by the Gigas, colossal robotic monsters, and she believes Eita is the one who can save them.
Reluctant and completely out of his depth, Eita lands in a realm of monster girls and mythical creatures, hunted by an enemy far beyond anything he ever faced on a screen. To keep his new companions alive, the self-proclaimed slacker will have to become the ninja he never wanted to be.
