When a colossal space monster attacks their city, five high school students—En, Kai, Shin, Yoku, and Ryu—find themselves trapped. Facing certain death, they are suddenly transported inside a mysterious patrol car to another dimension. There, they meet Bravian, an officer from the Space Police Organization, who reveals he is being hunted by vicious aliens from the Space Prison Sargasso.
Bravian entrusts them with the Dag Beagle, a battle machine modeled after Earth's vehicles, to combat this threat. Empowered by Bravian, the teens transform into the Dagwon warriors. In their first battle, En merges with the patrol car to become the Brave Robot Dag Fire and defeats the monster, but this victory is only the beginning of a larger war.
The newly formed Brave Dagwon must now defend Earth against the relentless assaults from the felonious aliens of Sargasso, balancing their ordinary school lives with their extraordinary duties as galactic protectors.
