Selfish

In a quiet izakaya, a skilled chef notices a group of special guests arriving. He decides to welcome them by preparing and serving a variety of his signature dishes, each crafted with care and precision. The atmosphere is warm, and the guests enjoy the meal, unaware of the deeper story unfolding beneath the surface.

Meanwhile, the film shifts perspective to reveal the hidden cost of human consumption. While people feast on delicious seafood, the oceans are being polluted by the trash we discard. Sea animals are not only caught and eaten but also forced to live in a poisoned, miserable environment filled with plastic and waste. Their suffering contrasts sharply with the comfort of the dining table.

As the chef continues to serve his dishes, the connection between the meal and the ocean's plight becomes impossible to ignore. The film asks viewers to reflect on the impact of their choices, showing how the simple act of eating seafood is tied to a larger cycle of harm that affects both the creatures of the sea and the world we share.
