Yoku is a standalone anime music video special directed by Mai Yoneyama, created for the song 'YOKU' by the popular vocalist and songwriter Eve. The project draws its core inspiration from the KATE YOKU Collection, a makeup line by KATE TOKYO, translating its distinctive visual concepts and atmospheric themes into animated form.
The video weaves a narrative or evocative sequence that mirrors the song's emotional tone and lyrical content. It functions as a promotional piece that bridges the worlds of music, beauty product marketing, and animation, offering a stylized visual companion to the audio track.
As a self-contained special, it presents a complete audiovisual experience where the animation's rhythm, color palette, and character expressions are meticulously synchronized with Eve's music to enhance the overall artistic impact.
