A poor man sets out on a journey with nothing but a single piece of straw. Along the way, he encounters various people and trades the straw for increasingly valuable items, hoping to improve his fortune.
Through a series of chance encounters and clever exchanges, the man's humble straw leads him to acquire a succession of goods, each more precious than the last. His journey becomes a test of wit and perseverance as he navigates the unpredictable nature of barter and human kindness.
