Uwabaki Cook

Cook is a left-foot uwabaki, a type of indoor school shoe, who lives a quiet life until his brother accidentally falls into a trash can and is taken away. Determined to rescue him, Cook sets out on a journey into the unknown, leaving behind the safety of the school hallway.

Though timid by nature, Cook's strong sense of justice pushes him to help others he meets along the way. Traveling alone, he often doubts himself, but the friends he makes—talking books, glasses, and chairs—give him the courage to keep going. Together, they face challenges and discover the true meaning of friendship.
