Rie Oshima's 2015 graduate project from Tama Art University follows a young woman drifting in and out of sleep. As she lies in bed, her consciousness floats between the waking world and vivid dreams, where familiar objects and spaces take on surreal qualities.
The line between reality and imagination blurs as she experiences fragmented moments of everyday life intertwined with dreamlike sequences. The film captures the quiet, contemplative state of being half-awake, exploring the gentle transition between consciousness and sleep.
