Yuu Otosaka is a high school student who possesses a mysterious ability: he can take over another person's mind and body for five seconds. Using this power to cheat his way through school, he leads a seemingly ordinary life until he is discovered by Nao Tomori, the determined student council president of Hoshinoumi Academy. Forced to transfer to Hoshinoumi, Yuu learns that the academy is a secret institution for teenagers with supernatural abilities. The student council's mission is to find and protect those who misuse their powers.
