A countdown leader becomes the primary visual subject of a film created entirely without a camera. Using an optical printer, the artist gives frame-by-frame color printing instructions to a film laboratory by phone, transforming the mundane technical strip into a vibrant abstract work.

The film explores the materiality of cinema itself, manipulating the standard leader through color and motion to create a rhythmic, non-narrative experience. The result is a hypnotic meditation on the building blocks of filmic language.
