Maa-kun, a young boy, lives an ordinary life until he encounters a strange and silent bear named Mr. Super Bear. This bear, adorned with studs and always carrying a drum and drumstick, trudges through the city without any expression on his face. Despite his stoic demeanor, Mr. Super Bear unexpectedly intervenes when Maa-kun is caught in a bank robbery, rescuing the boy without a word.
Later, Maa-kun stumbles upon Mr. Super Bear and a clown performing for a group of children, entertaining them with playful antics and music. The bear's drumming and the clown's tricks captivate the audience, but Maa-kun is left puzzled. Who is this enigmatic Mr. Super Bear, and why does he appear so suddenly to help and entertain? As Maa-kun watches, he begins to suspect there is more to this bear than meets the eye.
