Redline

JP is a daredevil driver who lives for speed. With his ultra-customized car, he qualifies for Redline, the biggest and most dangerous racing tournament in the universe, held only once every five years. Among the elite rival drivers, he falls for the alluring Sonoshee McLaren, the only other human competitor. This year's Redline takes place on the militaristic planet Roboworld, where trigger-happy soldiers and organized crime syndicates seek to exploit the race for their own ends. With no rules and everything on the line, JP must push himself and his vehicle to the absolute limit to survive the chaos and claim first place.

Takumi Fujiwara, a recent high school graduate and skilled street racer, faces a crushing defeat when his AE86 suffers an engine failure against Kyoichi Sudou, the leader of the Emperor team. Doubting his abilities, he is approached by Ryosuke Takahashi, the leader of the Akagi RedSuns, who offers him a spot in a professional racing team.
