Shokichi Monogatari

Shokichi is a stray dog wandering the streets of an unnamed town, his days spent searching for scraps of food and a warm place to rest. He moves through alleys and sidewalks, often ignored by passersby, yet he never loses his quiet curiosity about the world around him. His simple existence is marked by small routines and the constant challenge of survival.

One day, Shokichi’s path crosses with various people and animals, each encounter bringing a mix of danger and unexpected kindness. A child offers him a piece of bread, a shopkeeper shooes him away, and a cat watches him from a rooftop.
