Laminated Structure

A hand is shown cutting paper into various shapes. These cutout forms are then manipulated by changing the overlapping of sections along the time axis and the space axis. The die-cut shapes transform into a series of evolving laminar structures, creating a continuous visual flow of abstract patterns. The laminate based on the die cut of the hand shifts and morphs, revealing new configurations as the layers interact. The animation explores the relationship between two-dimensional cutouts and three-dimensional space through the constant reconfiguration of the paper layers. Each transformation builds upon the previous one, generating a dynamic sequence of geometric and organic forms that seem to emerge from the very act of cutting and layering.
