Sabishii Kashi no Ki
さびしいカシの木
A lonely oak tree stands in a field, observing the world around it. The tree feels isolated as it watches birds fly away and flowers bloom and wither. Through the changing seasons, the oak tree remains rooted in place, longing for companionship.
One day, a small bird lands on its branches, and the tree begins to form a bond with the creature. However, the bird must eventually migrate, leaving the oak tree alone once more. The tree must come to terms with its solitude and the fleeting nature of connection.
