PUSSY

In 1969, Keiichi Tanaami brought back copies of Screw, a pornographic tabloid newspaper, from New York. The black-and-white photographs from these pages become the raw material for a psychedelic visual experiment.

The film is presented as a double projection, with two images displayed side by side. Tanaami color-prints the original photographs, applying vibrant hues to transform the gritty tabloid content into a kaleidoscopic, hypnotic experience that explores the boundaries of perception and media.
