Osaru to Kagami
Finishedお猿と鏡
A music video was produced for the song "Osaru to Kagami" by Fusako Amachi and the Froebel Shounen Gasshoudan. It aired as part of NHK's long-running program Minna no Uta, which showcases animated segments set to popular songs. The video featured the titular monkey and its reflection, illustrating the song's playful lyrics about vanity and curiosity.
Despite its broadcast, the video is now considered lost media. No known copies survive in any archive or private collection, leaving only the audio track and descriptions of its content. Its disappearance highlights the fragility of early television animation, especially for short-form works that were not preserved systematically.
