Oni no Negai
Finished鬼のねがい
A music video for the song "Oni no Negai" by Masanori Tomotake and the Misuzu Jidou Gasshoudan. The piece was featured on NHK's Minna no Uta program, a long-running segment that broadcasts short animated clips set to music.
The video brings the song's lyrics to life through simple, folk-art-inspired animation. It tells the story of a lonely oni, a traditional Japanese ogre, who wishes for companionship and a place to belong. Through his journey, the oni encounters various characters and situations that explore themes of friendship and acceptance.
