Omoikkiri Yume
Finished思いっきり夢
A music video brings to life the song "Omoikkiri Yume" by Yuu Mizushima and Katsushika AK Kinder Call. The visuals accompany the track as it airs on NHK's Minna no Uta program, a segment dedicated to short musical pieces that have been a staple of Japanese television since the 1960s. The animation follows the rhythm and lyrics of the song, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that reflects the title's meaning of "dreaming with all one's might."
Through colorful imagery and fluid motion, the video captures the essence of the music, offering a brief but immersive audiovisual experience. The piece blends the vocal performance with hand-drawn or cel-animated sequences, typical of the era's music video productions for television. It stands as a snapshot of early 1990s Japanese animation used in a musical context, showcasing how anime techniques were applied to enhance a pop song's emotional impact.
