Human Zoo
Finished人間動物園
Human Zoo is an experimental animated short that explores the human condition through surreal and symbolic imagery. Based on a poem by Shuntarou Tanikawa, it presents a series of abstract vignettes depicting people in confined, mechanistic environments.
The film uses innovative animation techniques to critique modern society, portraying individuals as parts of a larger, often dehumanizing system. Its visual narrative invites reflection on freedom, conformity, and the essence of humanity itself.
