Manga Cinema dedicated to Sadao Yamanaka "Nezumikozo Jirokichi"

In the darkness of Edo at night, a mysterious figure rustles through the attics. He is Nezumi Kozō Jirokichi, a noble thief who steals from the wealthy to give to the poor. Among those affected by his actions are Suzu, a struggling merchant widow raising a young child, and the detectives and townspeople who seek to uncover his identity.

Bonji, Yasugoro, and Chogoro plot to use Suzu to expose Nezumi Kozō, while the compassionate detective Kan'emon despises crime but loves people. This melancholic human drama unfolds in the streets of Edo, dreamed up by filmmaker Sadao Yamanaka.
