Nat-chan no Akai Tebukuro

Nat-chan, a young elementary school girl, moves to Hiroshima and begins knitting a pair of red gloves for her close friend Shun-chan. Her days are filled with simple joys and the warmth of their friendship, unaware of the looming tragedy that will soon change everything.

When the atomic bomb is dropped on Hiroshima, Nat-chan is caught in the blast and perishes instantly. Years later, an adult Shun-chan returns to the city and encounters the haunting remnants of her existence—a nuclear shadow left on the ground where her body was vaporized, a poignant reminder of the life and bond they shared.
