Mori no Kuma-san
森の熊さん
A group of hikers ventures into the forest, where they encounter a large bear. The animal surprises them, but instead of attacking, it begins to sing a cheerful song. The travelers join in, and the bear leads them through the woods, turning the encounter into a playful musical journey.
Based on the traditional American camp song "The Other Day I Met a Bear," this animated short was created for the NHK program Minna no Uta. The simple, whimsical visuals and catchy tune capture the lighthearted spirit of the original folk melody.
