Water Dream
水の夢
Water Dream is a short film that traces the evolution of life in the ocean, from its very beginning to the emergence of whales. Through a blend of music and imagery, it pays homage to the American composer George Crumb's piece 'Vox Balaenae' (Voice of the Whale).
The film is structured in four parts, each representing a major geological era: Proterozoic, Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic. As the visual journey unfolds, viewers witness the gradual transformation of life forms across millions of years, all set to the evocative score.
