The Little Match Girl

In a cold winter city, a young girl tries to sell matches on the street to survive. She is ignored by passersby and dares not return home, fearing her father's anger. As the night grows colder, she lights one match after another to warm herself, and in their brief glow, she sees fleeting visions of comfort and kindness.
