Lu Ling

An old man and his granddaughter venture into the mountains to gather medicinal herbs. There, they discover a wounded fawn and take it home. The girl carefully nurses the fawn back to health, and over time, the two form a deep and inseparable bond.

As the fawn grows stronger, its instinct to return to the wild becomes undeniable. The girl must face the difficult decision of letting her friend go. Before the deer disappears into the mountain valley, she places a small bell around its neck. The sound of the bell echoes through the hills, a lasting reminder of their friendship.
