A little girl shares an inseparable bond with her stuffed bear, carrying it with her everywhere she goes. At home, she never puts it away, leaving it on the floor where her mother frequently trips over it. The bear endures constant play and affection, gradually becoming worn, torn, and raggedy from the girl's loving but rough use.
As the bear's condition worsens, her mother decides it is time to throw it away. Devastated, the girl retrieves the bear and attempts to mend it herself. With determination and care, she tries to stitch the torn fabric and restore her beloved companion to a better state, hoping to keep it by her side for many more adventures.
