Kappa Kawatarou

Kawatarou is a young kappa living in a peaceful village by the river. Together with his girlfriend, he enjoys the simple life of his community, which is preparing for an upcoming festival. The village thrives on the river's bounty, and the kappa live in harmony with their surroundings.
When a devastating storm strikes just before the festival, the river is left barren of fish, plunging the village into hardship. With their food source gone and the community weakened, Kawatarou and his girlfriend decide to venture into the mountains in search of anything that might help their people survive.
