A solitary snow-covered house stands in the middle of a vast rice field. Inside this silent, white space, a young girl experiences the quiet passage of time. She observes the world around her, finding meaning in the stillness and the subtle changes in the landscape.
As winter progresses, the snow hut begins to melt, slowly losing its form. The girl must confront the transient nature of her refuge, caught between the permanence of memory and the inevitable change that spring will bring. This is a story about the Japanese concept of *ma*—the in-between state of time and space—told through a visual haiku.
