Ito Amu, Itonamu
Finishedいとあむ、いとなむ。
An old Japanese ryokan stands by the Kuma River, its walls and memories weathered by time. After the devastating 2020 floods, the inn lies in ruins, its future uncertain. The owner, determined to restore the place to its former glory, begins the painstaking process of weaving it back together, piece by piece.
As the owner works, the ryokan's past and present intertwine. The river's flow carries stories of guests who once found solace within its walls, while the flood's scars remain a constant reminder of nature's power. The owner must navigate the delicate balance between preserving tradition and embracing change, all while the river continues to shape the land.
