Commotion at Ikedaya

In 1864 Kyoto, the Shinsengumi special police force storms the Ikedaya inn to capture anti-shogunate rebels. The raid is seen through the eyes of the ordinary townspeople living nearby, who witness the chaos and violence unfold from their homes and streets.
As the clash erupts, the neighbors must navigate the sudden danger, struggling to protect their families and livelihoods while the battle rages around them. Their everyday lives are shattered by the political turmoil, forcing them to confront the brutal reality of a nation in upheaval.
