A music video produced for the song "Hoshi Uranai Kirakira" by Shounen Shoujo Gasshou Dan Mizuumi. The visuals accompany the track as it was featured on NHK's Minna no Uta program, a long-running segment that showcases short musical pieces with animated or live-action videos. The song's title translates to "Star Fortune Telling Sparkle," suggesting a theme of celestial wonder and youthful curiosity.
The video presents a whimsical and colorful interpretation of the song's lyrics, likely involving starry skies, sparkling lights, and dreamlike imagery. It follows the musical piece without a narrative plot, focusing instead on the visual and auditory experience. The animation style reflects the early 1980s aesthetic, with simple yet charming designs that complement the upbeat and melodic tune. As a special produced for television broadcast, it serves as a standalone piece of art rather than part of a larger series.
