In a depressed city, two fireworks craftsmen known as Hanabi-shi use their unique beats to re-energize the urban landscape. They are the musical duo HIFANA, whose explosive sound is rooted in the traditional Japanese summer festival, or matsuri, filtered through their signature Tokyo-born hybrid breakbeats.

As they move through the city, the Hanabi-shi gradually awaken its spirit with their rhythmic energy. Their journey culminates at an enchanted temple, where they unleash their final, ultimate hanabi—a colorful climax of explosive energy that transforms the city and its inhabitants.
