A lone artist works in a dimly lit studio, drawing clay on a transmitted light stand. Inspired by medieval European bestiaries and Pliny's Natural History, the artist brings to life a series of strange and fantastical creatures. Each creature emerges from the clay, morphing and transforming in a fluid, dreamlike sequence.
The film is a silent, visual meditation on the natural world as seen through the distorted lens of medieval imagination. There is no dialogue or conventional narrative, only the continuous, hypnotic process of creation and transformation. The artist's hands guide the clay as mythical beasts, hybrids, and grotesque forms appear and dissolve, reflecting the endless cycle of life and the human urge to catalog and understand the unknown.
