Hakken

A music video directed by ONIONSKIN for the song "Hakken" by sora tob sakana, featured on their single "New Stranger." The visual piece transforms the track's energetic pop sound into a surreal, dreamlike journey through a world of shifting colors and abstract forms.

The video follows a young girl as she wanders through a strange, ever-changing landscape filled with floating objects, distorted perspectives, and symbolic imagery. Her path intertwines with the rhythm and lyrics of the song, creating a seamless blend of music and animation that explores themes of discovery and self-reflection.

As the visuals unfold, the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, inviting viewers to interpret the meaning behind each scene. The animation style combines fluid motion with bold, experimental designs, capturing the essence of the song's emotional core without a traditional narrative structure.
