Geulium

In a quiet corner of Seoul, a young woman named Yuna tends to her small flower shop, each bloom carrying a memory of her grandmother. Across the city, a fisherman named Min-jun stares at the sea, thinking of the daughter who moved abroad. A schoolboy named Jae-won writes letters to his absent father, while an elderly woman named Soon-ja waits by the window for a son who never visits. All of them share a common ache: the longing for someone or someplace they have lost.

As their paths cross in unexpected ways, each character must confront the void left by absence. Yuna's flowers become a silent language of regret and hope; Min-jun's boat becomes a vessel for memories; Jae-won's letters remain unsent; and Soon-ja's window frames a view of a world that has moved on. The film weaves their stories together, exploring how the Korean word "geulium"—the deep, wistful yearning for a loved one—shapes their lives and decisions.
