Enpitsu ga Ippon

In 1967, the song "Enpitsu ga Ippon" by popular Japanese singer Kyuu Sakamoto was selected to be featured on NHK's long-running music program Minna no Uta. As was common for the show, a short animated music video was produced to accompany the song during its broadcast. The video was created specifically for this segment, blending visuals with Sakamoto's gentle melody and lyrics about a single pencil.
The animated piece aired on the program but, like many early Minna no Uta segments, no known copies of the video have survived to the present day. It is now classified as lost media, with no footage, stills, or detailed descriptions of its animation style or content available to the public. The song itself remains well-known, but the visual component has vanished, leaving only its brief broadcast history as a record of its existence.
