In June and July 2010, the NHK daily music segment program Minna no Uta featured a song by Ueno Juri titled "Egao no Hana." This special one-episode anime brings the song to life through a vibrant animated music video. The story follows a young girl who lives in a quiet, ordinary town, where she one day discovers a mysterious flower with a gentle glow. The flower seems to possess a special power: when it blooms, it brings genuine smiles to the faces of everyone who sees it.
As the girl nurtures the flower and watches it grow, its petals begin to spread joy and happiness throughout her community.
