The collaborative project Cosmic Record, formed by the music brand Gwave and the anime production company Studio DEEN, launches its first release: the music CD 'Downloader'. The album features compositions by the musical artist Taishi, built around the iconic synthesized voice of Crypton Future Media's virtual idol, Hatsune Miku. This fusion aims to create a distinct auditory experience for fans of both contemporary music and virtual performers.
Accompanying the CD is a special 3D animated music video, produced entirely by Studio DEEN and included on a bundled DVD. The video brings the digital essence of Hatsune Miku to life through animation, visualizing the themes and atmosphere of the 'Downloader' tracks. This release marks a significant crossover between the anime production and music industries, offering content that bridges auditory and visual media.
As the inaugural effort of the Cosmic Record label, the project sets a precedent for future collaborations, focusing on high-quality production for a dedicated fanbase. The limited first edition of the CD emphasizes its collectible nature, merging physical media with digital artistry.
