Bal is a poor boy living on a remote island who dreams of escaping poverty by becoming a fearsome pirate. He rigs a makeshift boat from scrap materials, hoists a pirate flag, and sets sail with his loyal companions: his pig friend Bu, his younger sister Muge, and the giant salamander Kuna. Together, they form the crew of Captain Bal, ready to plunder and get rich.
However, every time Bal tries to commit a devious deed, things go wrong and he ends up helping people instead. Whether it's rescuing a stranded villager or fixing a broken boat, his pirate adventures always turn into acts of kindness.
