Buta ga Nigeta

In 1968, the Japanese band Jackey Yoshikawa and His Blue Comets released the song "Buta ga Nigeta" (The Pig Ran Away). The track was featured on NHK's long-running music program Minna no Uta, which showcased animated music videos for children. A short animated clip was produced to accompany the song, blending whimsical visuals with the band's energetic pop-rock sound. The video depicted a pig escaping from a farm, chased by various characters through a colorful countryside, set to the catchy tune. However, the original animation has since been lost, with no known copies surviving in NHK's archives or elsewhere. It is now considered a piece of lost media, remembered only through audio recordings and brief descriptions from viewers who saw it during its original broadcast.
