The Enormous Turnip

A little boy discovers an enormous turnip growing in his garden and decides to pull it out. He grabs the leaves and pulls with all his might, but the turnip does not budge. Determined, he calls for help from a passing dog, who joins him in pulling. Still, the turnip remains stuck. The boy then asks a cat for assistance, and the three of them pull together, yet the turnip refuses to move. Finally, a mouse comes along and offers its help. With the boy, the dog, the cat, and the mouse all pulling in a line, they manage to uproot the giant turnip at last.

This short film is based on the popular Chinese children's song about teamwork and perseverance. The simple story shows how even the smallest helper can make a difference when everyone works together toward a common goal.
