Ari to Hato (1959)

In a peaceful meadow, an ant and a pigeon live separate lives until a sudden rainstorm forces them to seek shelter together. The ant, struggling against the wind and water, finds refuge under a leaf held by the pigeon. Grateful for the help, the ant later notices a hunter aiming at the pigeon and stings the hunter's foot, making him miss the shot. The pigeon then returns the favor by carrying the ant to safety when a flood threatens to wash it away.
