Anime Tengu no Kakuresato

Two children from a modern Japanese town discover a hidden world in the mountains, where they encounter tengu, mythical creatures of Japanese folklore. The tengu, who have long protected the forest, are struggling as their habitat shrinks due to human encroachment and environmental changes.
The children learn about the delicate balance between nature and human activity, witnessing firsthand the consequences of deforestation and the rise in feral boar populations. As they befriend the tengu, they must decide how to help protect the mountain and its ancient guardians before it is too late.
