A music video for the song '15 Step' by the British rock band Radiohead, directed by Mizuki Totori. It was created as one of the winners of the Aniboom animation contest, a competition that invited animators to produce original visuals for the band's music. The video offers a surreal and abstract interpretation of the track, blending hand-drawn animation with digital effects. Its imagery shifts between dreamlike sequences and rhythmic patterns that mirror the song's distinctive beat. The animation explores themes of movement, repetition, and transformation, creating a visual narrative that complements the music without following a traditional story.
The video stands as a unique collaboration between a major musical act and emerging animation talent, showcasing how independent creators can reinterpret popular songs through their own artistic lens. It remains a notable example of music video animation from the late 2000s, capturing the experimental spirit of both Radiohead's work and the contest's creative freedom.
