Super Kaguya Hime! Movie Gives Away Super Kaguya Gourmet! Cover Art in Theaters

The fourth admission bonus will be distributed from October 9–15, 2026, while supplies last.

Juan Castillo 7 October 2026

The original Super Kaguya Hime! movie already has its fourth admission bonus ready. It is a board featuring the cover illustration of Super Kaguya Gourmet!, which will be handed out in Japanese theaters from October 9–15, 2026. Each moviegoer will receive one unit when seeing the film, although the studios warn that supplies are limited at each location and distribution will end once they run out.

The image shows Kaguya together with Ayaha, Ashika, and Makoto in loungewear, sprawled on a rug and chatting in a relaxed mood. It's a scene that fits the film's tone: humor, everyday life, and a group of girls who don't need to save the world to carry the story.

One More Bonus for an Original Film

Super Kaguya Hime! is an original production by Studio Colorido and Studio Chromat. It doesn't adapt a manga or a light novel, which is unusual in an industry that thrives on established franchises. That gives it some creative freedom, but also forces it to fight for audience attention with tools like these weekly bonuses.

This is the fourth round of giveaways for theatergoers. The previous ones already did their job: keeping the movie in the conversation for several weeks. In Japan, these strategies are almost a tradition for releases with box-office ambitions. A board with an original illustration isn't a massive draw, but it's a detail collectors chase and it helps fill seats on weekdays.

What Not to Do with the Bonus

The distributor has made the rules clear: the board is not for sale, resale is prohibited, and the content cannot be reproduced or copied. They also ask people not to ask at the box office how many units are left or how many will be distributed. A way to prevent speculation and nip in the bud the problems already seen with other items of this kind in the past.

The film is still playing in Japan and there is still no news about a release outside the country. It hasn't been announced either whether these bonuses will reach other markets when the movie is distributed internationally. The norm in these cases is no: box-office incentives usually stay in the domestic market.

We'll have to see if Studio Colorido and Studio Chromat announce a fifth round or if this fourth bonus closes the campaign. For now, Japanese fans have one week to get the board. Everyone else will have to wait for the movie to cross the pond.
