Hore Majo episode 3 shows Rose's poor diet

The official Hore Majo account has posted the synopsis and preview images for episode 3, titled «The Witch's Tea-Scented Song». The series premiered on October 5, 2026, and the new episode will air on October 19.

The episode opens with Princess Biraura, from the royal palace, asking a favor of Halijue, the elite knight who has served her for years. To carry out the request, Halijue travels to the lake witch's cabin, where he discovers that the feared sorceress is actually an ordinary young woman.

What catches his attention is not her magic, but the way she eats. Rose's diet seems so poor to him that he can't help but worry. That is the starting point of the episode, which keeps the tone of the series: a clumsy, bittersweet love story that begins with the protagonist's heartbreak.

A story of heartbreak and spells

Hore Majo is short for Dōmo, suki na hito ni hore-gusuri o irai sareta majo desu, which translates as «Hello, I'm the witch who was asked for a love potion for the person she loves». The story follows Rose, a witch who receives a peculiar request: to prepare a love potion for someone who is not her.

The anime series was announced for 2026 and premiered on October 5. The first episode introduced Halijue's arrival at Rose's cabin, and the second moved the relationship between them forward. Now, the third introduces Princess Biraura and goes deeper into the witch's daily life.

The elite knight discovers that the lake witch is an ordinary young woman and worries about her eating habits.

What to expect from episode 3

The episode title, «The Witch's Tea-Scented Song», suggests a slower episode than the previous two. The presence of tea and song points to an intimate scene between Rose and Halijue, away from the palace action.

The synopsis does not reveal whether Princess Biraura's request is directly related to Rose or if it is an independent errand. It also does not explain why Halijue ends up at the cabin, although the fact that he notices the witch's food indicates he will spend time with her.

The preview images show Rose in her daily routine and Halijue watching her with a mix of puzzlement and tenderness. These scenes reinforce the contrast between the witch's reputation and her domestic reality, a recurring theme in the work.

The series continues its weekly broadcast in Japan. Episode 3 premieres on October 19, 2026, according to the official schedule. Will you keep following Rose and Halijue's story? Tell us in the comments.
