Ren'omaru lives happily with his beautiful and kind mother, but he begins to realize that he cannot remember his own name or what happened yesterday. Shocked by this discovery, he learns the true identity of the woman he calls mother.
Accompanied by a mysterious baby monkey named Hyonta, Ren'omaru sets out on a journey to find his real mother. As he travels through a medieval world filled with strange and unsettling events, he confronts the dark truths hidden behind his peaceful life.
